Before & after: a Mount Royal living room

The brief was simple: make the formal living room a place we actually want to use. The bones were beautiful, the room was untouched in twelve years.
What stayed
The fireplace, the windows, the wide oak floors.
What changed
Limewashed walls, a 12-foot linen sectional, plaster sconces, and a vintage Turkish rug.
The result
A room that’s booked solid every Sunday afternoon.
